How we work together.
You don't need to know what you need yet. Here you can read how a project runs, who does what, what we ask of you and what happens after launch. Everything on this page matches our terms and conditions.
From first call to launch.
Every project is different, but the steps are always the same. How long it takes depends on what we build. The planning is in your proposal. Dates we mention are target dates: the pace also depends on how quickly copy, images and decisions come in.
-
Getting to know each other
You tell us what is going on or what you want to achieve. You don't need to know what you need yet; we figure that out together. The conversation is without obligation.
Your part: Tell us what is going on and what you want to achieve.
-
Understanding how things work now
We look at how the work gets done today. What works well and stays, where is time lost and what needs to improve? For software and automation we also talk to the people who will use it.
Your part: Show us how you work now and which systems you use.
-
Proposal
You get a proposal covering what we will make and what is not included, the planning and the price. Larger projects are split into phases, with a fixed price per phase. A proposal is without obligation: you are only committed once you approve it. For one-off work you then pay half up front by default and the rest on delivery.
A website starts at € 1,500, custom builds at € 3,500. For custom software you first see a free clickable demo, then a proposal with a fixed price per phase. All prices exclude VAT.
Your part: Ask your questions and approve it when it is right.
-
Design or first version
You see something clickable early on: a design or a first working version. We review it together, so you can steer before much has been built. The number of feedback rounds is in the proposal.
Your part: Look critically and tell us what is missing.
-
Building
We build in steps and show you what is there along the way. If we work in phases, we only start the next phase once you have approved the previous one.
Your part: Provide copy, images and access, and give feedback at the agreed moments.
-
Testing and approval
Everything goes on a test environment first. You have ten working days to check it and report what is not right, and we fix that. Then you give your approval. If we hear nothing within that time, or you start using it, it counts as approved.
Your part: Check everything and report what does not work as agreed.
-
Launch and walkthrough
We go live at a moment that suits you and show you how to work with it. If more people will use it, we walk them through it too. If you already have a website, it stays online until the new one is ready.
Your part: Pick the moment and join the walkthrough.
-
Service or further development
After that, if you want, we keep your site or system fast and secure with service and maintenance. If you want to build further, we make a proposal for the next step.
Your part: Report changes, outages and questions through your own service desk.
Three familiar faces.
Ruben is your fixed point of contact, and you work directly with Jorik and Jorian. Where needed, trusted specialists we know well join in; the core team stays responsible for your project.
-
Ruben Boogaard
Account Manager
Your fixed point of contact. Ruben is who you go to with questions about your proposal, the planning and agreements. He keeps the overview, from the first conversation until after launch.
-
Jorik Schut
Strategy, Design & Development
Jorik thinks along about what you need and makes the design or first working version, so you see something quickly. After that he helps build it until it is done.
-
Jorian Wientjens
Engineering & Security
Jorian builds and guards the technology: hosting, domain and email, databases and security. He reviews the code, so that what we deliver runs fast and securely.
And on your side: one contact person who makes decisions and approves work on your behalf. That keeps the lines short.
What we need from you.
Design and technology are our job. A few things can only come from you.
-
Copy
What you do, for whom and what you offer. Rough notes are a fine start.
-
Images
Your logo and photos of your business, team or products. If you have brand guidelines, we would love to see them.
-
Access
To what already exists: your domain, your current website and hosting, or the systems we need to connect to.
-
One contact person
Someone who makes decisions and approves work on your behalf.
-
Feedback at agreed moments
We plan together when you will see something. If you respond at those moments, the planning stays on track.
Finding that hard?
That doesn't have to hold you back. We think along about what your pages need, help you organise your copy and images, and look at what you already have that we can use.
Copywriting and photography are not a standard part of a project. If you need help with them, mention it in the first conversation and we'll see together what fits.
Good to know: the planning in your proposal assumes everything arrives at the agreed moments. If something comes later, the planning moves with it.
After launch, too.
A website or system is never completely finished. This is how we handle what comes next.
Your own service desk
With service and maintenance you get your own service desk. That is where you report changes, outages and questions, and upload files, such as new photos. Everything arrives in one place and nothing gets lost in an inbox.
-
Service and maintenance
From € 30 per month, excluding VAT: hosting, security, updates, backups and small changes where agreed. Exactly what is included is in your service agreement. An ongoing service runs for at least three months and can then be cancelled monthly, with one month's notice.
-
When something goes wrong
We respond to outages on working days as quickly as is reasonably possible. A fixed response time or availability is only agreed in a separate SLA. If you need one, for example for software your business runs on, discuss it up front. You can call us on working days from 09:00 to 20:00.
-
Three months' warranty
We fix defects in our own work free of charge if you report them within three months of your approval. This does not apply to problems caused by changes made by you or others. After that, repairs fall under your service agreement or are charged as additional work.
-
Building further
A new feature or a new setup is not part of maintenance. We make a proposal for it, just like for the first step.
Clear about ownership.
Good to know up front, so it is never a surprise later. This follows from articles 7, 8 and 9 of our terms and conditions.
Yours
- Your copy, images, brand and data.
- Your domain name. You are the holder, even if we register it for you.
- Where possible, accounts and licences are set up in your name. Ad accounts are in your name.
What you get
- After full payment, a right to use the work for the agreed purpose. It is non-exclusive and non-transferable.
- For a one-off delivered website or software, that right of use simply continues afterwards.
- For an ongoing service, such as software we keep available for you, it applies for as long as the agreement runs.
Stays with Agensea
- The intellectual property rights to what we develop, such as the design and the source code, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- By default we deliver a working website or working software. Source code, technical documentation and access to the development environment are only supplied if agreed in writing.
Want the source code or the rights?
Discuss it up front, so it is written into your proposal or agreement.
Ending an ongoing service?
On request you get your content and data in a common format within thirty days, once all invoices are paid. We cooperate on moving your domain name. Migrating to another party is additional work.
Someone else changes the work?
Then our warranty lapses on the parts that were changed.
Different arrangements only apply if they are written into your quote or agreement.
